I am proudly Welsh and have called Italy home for more than ten years.

Throughout the past decade of teaching English in Italy, I have worked with private students as well as numerous projects in primary, middle and secondary schools, across both the public and private sectors. My collaborations in Brescia include Liceo Artistico Foppa, Liceo Scientifico Copernico, Istituto Piamarta, Liceo Guido Carli, Canossa Campus, and the middle schools Pascoli, Virgilio, Pirandello and Foscolo, among many others.

I focus primarily on project-based teaching, including English conversation and CLIL modules across a range of subjects, including art, history, science, sport and music. I also teach preparation courses for Cambridge English and Trinity qualifications.

After spending five years in Sardinia, I now live in the centre of Brescia with my family: my twin sons, Edward and Sebastian, who currently attend Licei; Bruno, our Sardinian rescue dog; Argo, our Irish Setter; and my Brescian partner, Marco, who is a criminal lawyer.

Navigating the Italian school system as both a teacher and a mother has given me a unique and empathetic understanding of the challenges students can face when learning and developing confidence in English.
